Casual Friday PSA

You are still in a place of business people...not the club!
Men - yes, you may wear jeans, but you still must wear a button/collared shirt. And please tuck it in. Sneakers are not allowed either. You're not at a gym. Also, if you must wear jeans please wear appropriate ones. This isn't the time to show the world how even tho you're 45, you are still trendy with your holes, rips, or skinny jeans. Also, a v-neck shirt does not qualify as appropriate. You work out, we get it.
Women - casual dress does not mean it's time to wear that low cut top. I'm sure you're big saggy mom boobs are the talk of your suburban street but that gets no play here. Also, flip flops are not allowed since you're not at the beach. T shirts are also not acceptable.
Everyone - just dress normal. You're still at work. Yes, the Astros play tonight. That doesn't mean wear your Altuve jersey or that it's ok to wear a t shirt because it says Astros on it somewhere. Grow up and be professional dammit!

Casual Friday is for lazy slobs. We wear suits and ties all day everyday...except for women. Apparently they can wear whatever the frick they want.

I love that point in time when casual Friday regresses into people showing up at work in pajama pants and beach shoes. That Friday when the CEO makes a surprise visit and asks why there are homeless people in the cubicles.
