Cash unless I'm getting gas or paying on line.

Credit card so I can get the points. Haven’t paid for a Marriott room in years.

I've had that happen to me before in Austin.

Really no reason to choose debit over credit unless you’re irresponsible and have an issue with getting into credit card debt.

They now have certain types of Amex cards that you don't have to pay off entire balance every month

What? Credit card companies would gladly prefer you not pay in full every month

Plastic all the way. Online shopping, racking up points, faster transactions, easy dispute process. Also, I'm not 12 or a drug dealer.

Credit card for everything. Too much value in points not to.

This.

Use the creit card as if it were a debit card.

It earns us enough points to pay for the flights to at least one vacation a year.

Plus, if there's any fraudulent activity, the credit card companies handle it with a quickness since it's their money, not yours.

I had a couple thousand's dollars of fraudulent activity on my debit card 2 years ago. It took 3 months and a half dozen trips to BOA before I got my money back.

The last time I had fraudulent purchases on my credit card, 1 call put a stop to it and it was removed from my bill in 5 minutes.
