Don't relent. What they did is their practice, so tell them to do their job correctly,

The latest scam with Honda is to delay your appointment or claim supply issues with parts until just after your warranty runs out.
If you report the issue prior to warranty termination then they cannot do that. If they try that then sue them.

I wish my car could cruise at 25mph. School zones drive me insane

Two were original with 40,000 miles. two were replaced after blow outs with others. I really hated the Conntinentals and wanted the Goodyear weather tires.
I did a long diagnostic yesterday of the van. I tested the readings on the sensors and the throttle. I then drove it on manual and found the issue to only be in 6th gear. I am now convinced I need a new transmission at 43,000 miles. I'm going in Monday. I should just trade it in since it's actually gone up in value which is insane for an imported van. I kind of don't want to pay on it two more years unless it's a brand new transmission. It drives fine in 1-5, and 8 issues in 6 and 7 only.

I was setting cruise at those speeds for testing reasons.
Though when I am in the city of Harahan I lock cruise control at 20mph on river road. They will pull you over at 22mph.

You can get an extended warranty. Wait a day or two and they'll call you.

I'm in my powertrain warranty and have an extended warranty for 30,000 more miles.
They gonna fix it.

A little secret that techs will not say to non techs.
It is how the tech writes up the story and not about the work.
The better the tech writes up what is wrong on a job, the more money the tech makes and the dealer makes.
