Sign up for an avis wizard account. Price goes down by about 50% when you have an account. The accounts are free.

I use Hertz and rent a car at least once a month. I pay roughly $35 a for a full size not including fuel or tax. I am not sure why your rental is so high.

Kayak had a two day economy vehicle available for under $60 total (Enterprise and Hertz) when I checked yesterday. Of course, I’m an old frick, so that may have something to do with it.

Try Turo car rental. It's like Airbnb for cars.

Yep and free second driver. That saves $10/day. Also you usually get free upgrades too.

Depending on where you are renting the car, try Turo or just use Uber. Turo is like airbnb for cars.

Long story short, I need to rent a car this weekend.. I’m only 20, and was told it was kinda expensive .. I thought, meh, I only need it for 2 days.. BOY was I wrong .. 200$ for two days ??? 100$ a day for a rental .. anybody have any alternatives? This is wack

Under 25y/o most companies either don't rent or charge a major premium. If you have a costco membership, check out their travel page. Car rentals are waaay cheaper on there than I've been able to find on any other site.
