Here's the thread about my ECU issues

The first part was about my head gasket but the ECU went out about year later.

Thanks for the responses! I am by no means a mechanic and this looks like it could be multiple different things. Ugh!!
I'll begin trying to check them off the list. Hopefully it is cheap but after reading some on the throttle position sensor it may be a hit for an OT poor like me.

I replaced spark plugs in mine to help with that problem.
But my best fix was to trash the Jeep during the "cash for clunkers" program in 09.

I chased problem after problem. This thing was a money pit. I also dumped it during cash for clunkers.

The poster above already said it: Crankshaft position sensor....costs about 10-15 bucks for the parts and you could replace it yourself if you have a good set of tools...
maybe $150 at a shop.

Do yourself a favor and go to a Jeep forum...not a sports forum....helloooooooo

sounds like I would take a look at the Alternator as well...I aint no mechanic tho

Could be a throttle body or a MAF senor issue.
