I bought a new 2020 Tahoe last week. It came with premium Bose drivers and (I'm guessing) control modules.

I like the Bose system but I'm interested in getting Focal drivers to replace the Bose ones.

How hard would this be? I like the front end and don't care to change it.

Feedback please.

Thanks

I thought people quit caring about car audio at the turn of the century.

Why are you asking how hard it is then? Take it to a reputable car audio shop in your area and tell them what you want. They can do it.

The Focals are incredible. I replaced all my factory speakers with the 6 1/2's, added a JL Audio 8" under the backseat and a good amp and the clarity is ridiculous.

You should probably stick with a cheaper product if you are not going to get something to clean up the audio from the head unit and do a proper system entire with a processor, amps, all your speakers, etc...

Make sure you have this in the 6 disc cd changer.

I just did the same on my Sierra.
The audio place on Coursey at Sherwood can do it for you for $77 with tax if you have your own replacement speakers.

I attempted to do it myself, but when I removed the door panel I saw the speaker is built into a casing with its wires fused on the tabs. Yeah.. I’m not messing with that.

People that appreciate music, instruments, bass, treble and vocals get more out of the music disagree with you and think you’re a douche.

Bose stuff tends to be proprietary. I'd be looking at a complete system if I were you.
