OP, outside of my previous comment. to save your money(Focals without an amp). You would be better off, getting some proper sound deadening installed.

few things
1. the speakers in the doors are built into a plastic piece that is bolted to the door
2. the holes of new speakers won't line up on the door, which means you either have to make a wooden spacer that the speaker mounts to, and the wooden spacer has holes that match the door bolt pattern, or you can drill new holes into the metal (but you have to make sure that the speaker mounts flush with the metal)
3. you either have to find a harness that connects to the factory speaker connector or cut it off completely
4. and of course, make sure the impedance of the new speakers matches the bose
5. highly recommended - stick on sound deadener inside the door

processor
This is what I was talking about. I figured it was as simple as just using existing amplification. Bose is notorious for using DSP to Accomplish something.

Yep. If he wants to upgrade the only real way to do it and get a benefit is to rip out the entire system and replace it.

LT. Crutchfield said it has active noise cancellation.
The dealer was supposed to install two dvd players today but they sent the incorrect color.
