Call me bitter but I don't think the Capt. will get much love here because he #1 wasn't an over paid actor, #2 wasn't an over paid sports jock, and #3 WAS a great man that was under paid.

RIP Capt. and thank you for your service.

not gonna disagree with the great man part, just the underpaid. I mean depending on his rank he made close to 6k a month and another 1500 in housing allowance. Dude probably didn't spend much if he lived on base and ate with everyone else.
Plenty of career military people I know are in a better situation because the way they live they don't spend frivolously.

It was a honor to see the flyover today.

We were overcome.

Good friend of mine, county commissioner in Smyrna and the man who married us delivered the eulogy after the crash. Said he was told it was safe to eject but didn't because he was too close to apartment complex. They've raised $250k for his family so far.

Love the passion, Net. Old next door neighbor was a Blue Angel when we lived in Florida. People that bitch about honoring a hero can EAD.

Yea, it didn't go the way I thought it was going to go before I clicked on it, but then I remembered this is the OT, and I was just like "that's about right."
