Can you really see computers "turning" on humans like in the movies?

I'm pretty sure all the computers in my car are trying to kill me.

They're shady AF.

If humans can turn on each and reason through it, computers can be made to do the same.

We have assholes that create viruses for no benefit other than the joy of knowing they have irritated the shite out of people they have never met. So yeah, people will make computers turn on people, cuz it'll make awesome YouTube videos and news stories.

That technology already exists in some ways. A self driving car has to make a decision about the value of a passenger's life compared to pedestrians if several pedestrians jump in front of it. The choice can be between brake but still hit the pedestrians vs brake and swerve but hit another car or a fixed barrier like concrete or a tree.
