Yes. When you remove it go to AutoZone and buy some road tar remover. You’ll have to bust your arse rubbing but the residue will come off.

Especially this time of year. What do you expect that cardboard to accomplish, anyway?

When i was a kid my dad didn’t want to use fact o bate to paint our truck. So we got a few grinders and finished up by painting it with a paint brush. We used 2x6 as a tailgate

I wouldn’t use duct tape.
Go to Harbor Freight or Home Depot and buy a roll of packaging stretch wrap. Cover the busted window with a garbage bag and then wrap with this stuff

First time I tracked a car, I was driving to TWS and ran over a truck part on the way track..
Punched a hole in the bumper cover and tore the cooling duct off on the LF.
Taped it all back together and went to the track.

Duct tape can frick your paint up, and I've seen it remove paint, You don't want to use it.

Just pull it in the garage and drive your fun car.
I thought this was the OT. Mingo, you don’t have a fun car yet?

You can put duct tape on anything, but sometimes there are consequences.

Cars are for women and children

I have experience with this. I bought my car and the left edge of front window had 6 inches of black duct tape because one of the thin long rubber piece that acts as a buffer between the window and metal meeting was peeling off. So they duct taped it thinking I wouldn't see. Anyways, a little paint did come off, but that piece of tape was on there for prob a year or 2. If just doing temporarily, probably not. Like less than 1 month you're prob fine.
