Plus I make sure i have at least 3 or 4 of my different hospital badges clipped to my waist band so that, from any side, you're sure to see one.

Pager clipped to the back pocket.

Stethoscope round my neck.

Talking real loud and important-like on my cell with plenty of high falutin med/Surg jargon sprinkled in.

You know, cuz Im really trying to show off

Most wear scrubs and then change in to different scrubs at whatever hospital they are at.

Reading through this thread; holy hell there are some people really worked up about this.

I will say, someone going to the gym in scrubs is ridiculous. But grabbing lunch, or running an errand after work in scrubs? Calm down people.

I can actually get behind this, some dude came into my work the other day and had a bit of blood on his. I mean, kudos for doing your work and saving lives but come on now.

Could have been betadine, either way if physically soiled staff should have changed.

I've flew in a couple of them....only organs I've had with me were mine though

Is it ok to arrive at the gym in your scrubs then change into workout clothes or is that against the rules as well?

A couple of years ago I had this severe back pain, to the point it was making me physically ill.
My daughter types in my symptoms and says, "Kidney stones".
Two hours later, the ER doc says, " kidney stones".

Clearly a high-speed Internet connection and good SEO results will replace doctors soon.
