Question: are you admitting you would have supported taking up arms against the United States?

A simple yes/no will do for my analysis.

As hemp's attorney esquire, I'll be advising my client not to answer that question.

As a KA alumni from back before the pussification of America. Putting on the dress grays every year for Old South definitely got the testosterone going!!

I do not think that was the best choice to make in regards to the goals of the CSA, but if I had been a native of Alabama, yes, I would have more than likely enlisted.

It was probably more anger, because when an army passed through in those days they took all your shite they wanted, any livestock you had would be appropriated.

And they burn down your house, rape slaves and townfolk women, loot the shite out of your property, etc.,

I guess moral relativism is out of the window in this regard.

Way to go HH, now you're on a fricking list!!! When the lawyer tells you to shut up, you shut up.

I'll file an appeal and see if we can maybe get you taken off but I'm gonna be honest, the odds aren't great.

My brother in law was a senior this year so he wanted us all to come down for the day for Old South at LSU....we did and I was shocked that there were no SJW protestors because of the hats and the dresses.

It was a good time....I know Old South has change tremendously over the years due to BS...I hope it stays mostly like it is now for future generations to enjoy.

No it's applicable. Some people' morals lead them to believe it's ok to enslave other humans and force them to do back-breaking manual labor or risk being whipped like an animal.

I just wanted to know what your morals are, and you told me.

Now this is quite a presumption.

I have more of an allegiance to my state than my country. It's a Southern thing no doubt.

The funny thing is neither side in these endless discussions ever really say anything about their family background and history for any years but those 3 or 4. The hundreds of years before and after are just kind of forgotten. I don't think I've ever seen any of the myriad of other flags that have flown over Louisiana displayed as much as the confederate battle flag (granted it is a cool looking flag).

So you gathered what his morals are based on the fact that he would have taken up arms for the CSA?

I can tell you right now that none of what you said is true about me, but based on what people knew back then, where I was from, and my family's history I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt I would have fought for the Confederacy alongside my great great great grandfather as well had I been around back then.

None of that reflects anything about my morals today or tells anyone that I support slavery.

I have some pretty extensive documentation on family history both before and after the war. Just as I am a proud Alabamian, I am a proud Scots-Irish and Englishman. It's just that in an American context, the former is much more discussed than the latter.
