re: Can you fly with a warrant out for your arrest over an unpaid speeding ticket?

Domestic or International? I'd think you'd be okay on a domestic flight, assuming your license isn't expired.

I'm pretty sure the bench warrant won't stop you from flying, but any interaction with law enforcement could be a problem.

Your logic is based on one international trip you went on.

Chill would ya? They only check the no fly list via Homeland. Homeland does not give a flying frick about an unpaid speeding ticket

So just don’t frick with the cops? Easy

Over the past ten years it's probably been a lot more than that because I get lots of speeding tickets and always forget to pay them.

Ticket is unpaid because it is in the process of being taken care of.
That shouldn't take more than a week or two. If you have a warrant that means the ticket was issued months ago. It doesn't add up.

Never heard this dude and now he’s been making multiple posts across multiple boards. None of them are any good.

Mine was a huge ordeal. They took my wallet and phone and everything and put me in a cell for hours while they called Athens Georgia to see if they wanted me to fly there to pay the ticket. I got accused of lying by the moron LAX policeman as he yelled at me. It was mind bogglingly retarded, but I would never leave the country without taking care of things like that again

Lol they are going to pick you up at your destination flight just so they can drive you halfway around the country for 2-3 days in some paddy wagon just to arrive in a jail cell. Just lol at you

You will not be able to make it through TSA. You can try... They don't catch everyone, but I know I would feel unsafe as frick if I knew someone was on my flight and they have an unpaid speeding ticket.

This is how it was explained to me.
When the flight leaves the gate, the manifest is released to TSA (domestic flights) or CBP (international flights). Generally speaking, there isn't enough time for the list to be vetted, and any potential issues verified and sent to the local agents, before the flight lands.
A cruise is a different story. WHen the boat pulls out of the dock, the manifest is sent to CBP. But... cruises last days, a week or more sometimes... so there is plenty of time to check the list.
Few years ago, we were on a cruise with two other couples. We get back to NOLA and are walking by the room of the couple and there are Carnival security, CBP agents, and NOPD outside their room. Apparently the gal had a DWI like 8 years ago in Houston, and despite her belief that everything was paid and done, apparently some paperwork along the way didn't get handled. She's cuffed and off to OPP. They lived at the time in Alexandria and so he drives home to get paperwork. He can't find it. She spends the night in OPP, next day, HPD shows up and brings her back to Houston. Spends a night in jail in Houston. Finally, attorney is able to get it all worked out and she is released.
