Yes. Most metal uses dark satanic themes, but is actually about overcoming one's inner demons and vices, and rising above them. It typically has a fairly Christian message despite unchristian pagan symbols.

I believe you can. However, I usually stay away of songs that obviously denounces Christianity or faith - i e The Hand That Feeds by NIN.
