There is a lot of middle ground between ignoring and talking about the same shite over and over 24/7. No one is saying anything earth shattering on here at this point. I don’t even have to read people’s posts to know what they are going to say about any political issue. No one on this board seems to be able to have any nuanced beliefs and they few that do are just called “soy boys” or whatever other idiotic term the politards are using that week. It’s boring, trust me your opinions aren’t as important as you think they are. No one actually cares what wawaweewa’s world view is.

This race shite is everywhere. The president of LSU commented on a criminal case. They are teaching anti-racism in my kids school. What about those things are political?

To go further on the “you just want to ignore it” refrain, yes sometimes people do want to ignore it. It’s not healthy to focus on anything 24/7. And just because you aren’t ignoring it doesn’t mean you’re doing anything whatsoever to fix the problem you feel exists. You’re just vomiting words in an echo chamber on a message board:
