It's not a feature I use really that often. But it's nice to have it available. For example....if you are home sick and miserable....instead of having to go to store all sick and miserable, you can just make a few clicks on your laptop and have someone deliver items to you. That convenience is well worth $5 if you are home alone with a high fever and flu symptoms.
Didn't know that! You don't typically have cold remedies at the ready?

Another year, another $99 saved by not buying into the prime nonsense.
I get it for 50 bucks a year i work for a .edu training company . Im not a student but since my email address says .edu i get it for 50
I use prime for everything and items are there 2 days later along with all the other things Nurse mentioned. Best 50 bucks a year i ever spend.

Same price,

shipping that takes 2x or 3x as long
Unless you pay $100/yr Amazon will fricking sit on your free shipping order for at least a week prior to sending out for shipment. It happened enough I quit Amazon altogether. They can't force FedEx ground to deliver slower so they solved it by leaving you in "order processing" hell. Passive aggressive motherfrickers

Had prime for close to six months now and I love it.
I have like 7 dash buttons, including ones for bottled water, toilet paper, trash bags, gatorade and a few other ones. Freaking clutch.
I also HATE going to the grocery store and I'll do 1-2 of the Prime Pantry boxes a month. It's amazing. Allows me to only go to the grocery store once a month for fresh meats, if that.

Yeah but I'm talking about when you are miserable and some ice cream and chicken noodle soup are the only things you can eat....and you check the pantry and freezer and realize none of those items are there.
Also....the grocery option would have been awesome when I sprained my ankle a few years ago. I was stuck at home for a couple weeks on crutches. Couldn't go grocery shopping on my own. Hated relying on others to go do my shopping for me. $5 would have been worth it to get exactly what I wanted, delivered right to my door.

Bought a fire tablet for my two year old daughter and my wife wanted a beach shade tent for our trip to Panama City this weekend.

If you watch their streaming service and order from Amazon a lot, it isn't nonsense. Sorry you're too poor to afford $99.

Dual axle trailer for my bikes. Realized I've no desire to go to another bike rally. Nice trailer sitting at my friends mechanic shop in Lafayette. ...I'll haul it to Kentucky one of these days.

The only times I have been this incapacitated is when I have a stomach virus, and I don't want to eat or drink anything during those times.
Does a cold really put people down that bad?

I think I got $99 worth of saved shipping because Amazon's stupid add to cart crap.
Placed like 8 separate orders all 2 day shipping.
Most expensive thing was dog food which wasn't on sale but we needed anyway. Whopping $44.

A $50 Amazon gift card just so I could get a $10 Amazon credit

This is just laughably untrue

I don't pay taxes on Amazon. That alone saves me at least $100. I do the majority of my gift shopping from the comfort of my home, saving tons of time at Christmas. One day shopping > $100 of my time.
I got a pair of Synchronized wood earbuds for $15, a 128gb microsd card for my phone, and 2 boxes of diapers.

I got an Echo.
Sure I probably don't need it, but it'll be fun.
