So I drank some water that has been sitting on my bedside table for about a day and a half about an hour ago and now I'm taking a shite that could go through a screen door. Any correlation?

Eta: It was from sonic and had strawberrys in it if that makes a difference

water doesn't "go bad"

It doesn't spoil. It can however become contaminated depending on the environment. You left water sitting by a bedside table so there is probably dust and whatever else is floating in the air. But it's not bad. Have you ever heard of a well? It's water that sits in a hole in the ground. And then people drink that shite.

Someone probably jerked it into your cup while you were out.

Check to see if there are any cockroach parts or anything else dead floating around in the bottom of your glass.

Cockroach parts would provide fiber and more likely to cause constipation

Sometimes when I read this board I’m amazed how some people function on their own in real life

I don't think people realize how resilient the human body is, and how we were originally designed to operate.

You can literally eat raw, unprocessed meat (muscle) from a kill as long as you check that there are no worms or parasites in the meat. And you can drink water from moving streams. Your body is designed to do these things and continue operating normally.

The level of retardation required to ask if water "goes bad"...

I was kinda going the dysentary route. I know a guy who ate a bowl of soup at someones hut in mexico and it had roach parts in it. He was sick for a while.

It was more likely the gas station egg salad sandwich you had for lunch.

I'd say that all kinds of bacteria can grow in a cup of water sitting out for a few days...particularly if you drank some of it and "seeded" it with bacteria from your mouth. Of course, anything that is already growing in your mouth shouldn't make you sick.

I'd say it was something else that has given you the shits.
