I can post studies that "african-Americans" are more likely to engage in violent crime.

Against cops? I would like to see. Cops always are on edge and afraid for their lives when confronting blacks, but most cop killers are white males.

Minorities are also involved in more arrests and more instances of resisting arrest. The raw numbers of any individual metric skew toward blacks getting a raw deal, but applying context shoots it all to shite.

Walter Williams

If people would read actual articles from time to time they would find that there is a vast world out beyond the OT.

Walter Williams is a Cal State and UCLA PHD and economics professor at George Mason.

Please read this link and any others of his as he is a very smart man and can add some credence to your arguements.

Nobody can provide objective statistics to support a bias towards blacks because it doesn’t exist.

That's true but out of context. Over the past ten years, 52% of police murders have been committed by whites while 41% have been committed by blacks. But those numbers are out of line with both overall population percentages and.police-civilian interactions.

False. Police are more likely to use force up to, but not including, deadly force on black men. They are more likely, given the number of encounters with black men vs white men, to shoot white men.

2017 YTD police shooting stats

This is great information updated daily..doesn't speak to brutality, just overall deaths.

Current year death by race: 768 deaths
120 Unknown
25 Other
117 Hispanic
169 Black
337 White
* Hard to tell anything with the "unknown" and "other" numbers being high, but the w/b/h by face value pretty show blacks and Hispanics slightly higher than total % of actual population. However, Blacks commit a higher rate of crimes than their actual population numbers, so should be higher in confrontations with the police .... California has highest number od police deaths by far, even with larger population.

Yes, why wouldn't you? Shouldn't we be making informed decisions and not responding emotionally?

As I said, see the link above. It doesn't have to be statistics but it can be. It can also just be level headed , thoughtful discourse if people would allow.

I believe he said there was no proof in blacks being killed at a higher rate than white. Or that race did not play a factor in police shootings. However he did write that minorities are in fact treated worse.

He is great and incredibly smart and too bad these jack offs would rather just run their mouths rather than learn something.

In the second paragraph of his article, Williams shifts the entire topic away from the discussion at hand. I'm not sure that constitutes thoughtful discourse.

Actually whites are more likely. cops now adays are more reluctant to do things to minorities in fear of backlash.

And more whites are killed by minorities than minorities are by whites.
