Can someone explain to me this mindset?

Headed to work and I realize my radio is on the Rickey Smiley morning show. I used to listen occasionally because I thought he was funny, but I soon realized that Rickey and the show provide zero objectivity any time the subject of race is brought up. So I refuse to listen to their racist bullshite.
This morning I catch just a snippet, and they are discussing who Obama will appoint to the Supreme Court vacancy. Rickey then says that he would love to see a black woman appointed, and the other clown agrees with him. No reasons given, no possible candidates fitting this description mentioned, just as long as it is a black woman, they will be okay with it.
My question is, do blacks just want other blacks in as many positions of power as possible, regardless of merit or qualifications or what have you, just to prove a point or to make things "equal"? I mean is this really how some people think? I have no issue with a black woman being appointed IF she is the best candidate for the job. In fact, all anyone should want for a position with such authority and power, is the best candidate, regardless of race, religion, etc.

How I imagine those two on the radio

If you really want middle of the road, as unbiased as possible talk radio, try Michael Smerconish on Sirius.
I like to listen on the way to work in the mornings and it's pretty good

No.

The sad/scary thing is that these people don't realize they are both sexist and racist.

Stopped reading right there
When you start generalizing the mindset of entire races of people--be it black, white, Latino whoever..you've already lost whatever argument you are trying to make

Triggered.
The minority of a country wish to see someone of their minority in a position of power? Well color me shocked.

Do you think all blacks are the same?

I'm not trying to make an argument. I am asking a question. It seems like this mindset is widely accepted throughout the black community. And it is harmful to society.

Yes. The rock you have been living under must be pretty special

Yes. They don't see education, experience, or credibility, they just see color.
They didn't care how bad Obama or any other AA would screw over the country as long as they were black. Same for Supreme Court.

No obviously, but 95% vote Democrat, so they think the same in that regard.

It seems like you've already made up your mind, so why ask the question?
Also, there is no "black community." That's an archaic misnomer that folks need to quit using, tbh.

Well there's your problem right there. Using logic and rationale
