With the invention of Uber and Lyft there’s really no excuse to have more than a couple and drive anymore. Best invention ever

And?

You don't have a right to not be detained by a DUI checkpoint while on a public road ( United States v. Martinez-Fuerte & Michigan Department of State Police v. Sitz).

Don't like it? Convince people to stop imbibing then driving, try to get laws changed or get high enough in your local law enforcement to stop them from doing it in your area. Just trying to rationalize it on a message board isn't going to change the law.

Cars are driven and can cause horrific crashes. Houses aren't driven. Appears you don't know that. Got any other 3 year old responses?
So they should be able to do it anytime they want as much as they want when you're in your car then, right?

They publish the dates and locations of the checkpoints.

Again. Not every town has this readily available.

I pose another question to the group. If dwi’s aren’t about generating revenue then why can you get one on a horse?

Thousands of people across the country dying each year from drunk drivers is apparently more egregious than millions of unverified people electing our representatives to govern over us. Make it make sense.

Well you must have failed reading comprehension in 5th grade, cause that's exactly what you did.

Don't drink and drive but glad I live in a state where you don't see those.
