Can someone explain the temperature discrepancy at MSY??

Less than 10 miles away in any direction, it’s at least 5-7 degrees cooler... What gives?

Absorption of the suns heat by all the concrete. Its always cooler in the country baw, come on out here.

I just question this because they keep the records from this location and I would imagine it’s not a accurate reading for the area. It only helps pat the push for the climate alarmist.

Airports generally are required to have top notch reporting equipment for performance calculations and such. I’d take their official temps as legit over any other area’s reporting.
