You can actually go a lot cheaper than that if you start doing credit card spends. You and your wife could get Hyatt cards for 2 free nights plus up to 120k points and chase sapphire preferred sign up bonus for 150k total. You can transfer chase points to Hyatt, could easily pay for all your hotels.
You could go further and probably get a few flights paid for too with points
Set your eBay/garage sale stuff as an LLC, get business cards with signup bonuses…the possibilities are endless for you to do this all on points with some work and research. Reddit groups, Facebook group travel on points, paid services too that will help you

You’re gonna need a bigger budget. That’s not enough for 4 people for 5 to 6 days, flights and hotel. It’s beautiful though so I hope you swing it.
