Can I go buy plants at lowes?[/quote] Could you go support a local small business instead?

Yes, go.

Some time in the next few days, I'm heading over the Huey to Banting's in Bridge City.

They're combining conscientiousness and common sense:

It's Springtime and Banting's is open and operating within our normal business hours. We are closely monitoring the guidelines from the CDC and are taking extra preventative measures in accordance with the recommended guidelines to include debriefing our staff of health considerations and ensuring our customers enjoy a comfortable and healthy shopping environment. The health and safety of our customers and staff remains our top priority.

Went on Sunday and bought 4 new plants, 10 bags of mulch, 4 bags of dirt, some paint, new front door lock and handle, and a new set of gardening shears.

They were limiting number of people in store and had controlled entrance / exit.

Not if you are going to plant the plants. Only to hoard the plants

If it's essential to you, that should be the deciding factor.

Plants give off oxygen. We all need oxygen. Therefore save the planet. Btw...has anyone heard from Al Gore ?

Yes dude. Go into the store, keep your distance, then go to the outdoor section which is actually outdoors and buy some plants.

This. You will have to go into the main entrance now for entry. Once inside, go to outdoor section and pick out plants. The Lowe's by my house has X's where everybody is supposed to stand when checking out. There has not been a limit to people in the store.

If you have to ask permission then you're no longer a citizen, you're a subject.
