To the OP, you could probably get something equally plain looking for less, no?

How much less? From the looks of it you can buy that watch for $25 dollars at your local shopping plaza.

It's just weird and I don't understand it.

I feel the same way about autograghs. I don't understand why anybody would want another persons signature on a piece of paper or jersey, etc.

Who needs to be reminded what day it is?

Me, when I have to sign shite that needs a date on it. Just yesterday I was signing for a loan and I had to write the date on the paperwork. Do you know how embarrassed I felt that I had to ask the manager what the date was yesterday all because I left my damn watch at home.

That's not a bad watch at all.

I like simple watch designs.

Well at least my watch tells time AND makes me look pretty. Your tiara (it's ok, we know) only makes you look pretty.

This is all the watch a man needs. Water resistant so you don't have to take it off when you shower, an alarm so you make sure you wake up to eat breakfast, and a calculator for when you need to know how many hours of golf can you play before your wife gets home. And it's only $10.

I have one of those cheap Seiko's in a drawer.
The battery went out and I took it to Target... the woman in jewelery couldn't get the back off of it, so I took it to a watch repair jeweler and he couldn't get the back to unscrew off of it either... They must put loctite or JB-weld on it...
Basically it was an $80. disposable watch.

You're acting like an idiot now. Why do people buy expensive shoes? Why do people drive nice cars? Why do people actually buy books now when you can get those on your phone? There are dozens of reasons for owning a nice watch.

Because you don't understand, don't discount others opinions. If you don't wear Skechers with velcro (Because who needs laces anymore)in a totally utilitarian manner you should carry your arse.

I seriously can't understand anyone owning a watch in 2015. It's borderline hipster bullshite. It's the equivalent to carrying around a paper map and a walkman for the "authentic feel".

It's fricking jewelry so unless you're a woman or Italian, you don't need it.

Such a bunch of arse clowns on this board. Hey, it's a nice watch. I'd wear it proudly.

I didn't say date function. I said day function. My watch has a date function, and I use it all the time. I don't need to be reminded that today is Thursday. Did the paper work require the day of the week?

Canceling the game really did a number on you. You should have a snickers bar.
