Absolutely! Just wait & you’ll be able to have an even better selection. I prefer Toyota’s & I’ve been looking at a variety of Older Tundras within that price range.

Does it have to a truck? 20k can get you quite a bit if you're willing to open your options a little

I mean, do you know of an equal substitute for a pickup truck?

Nissan frontier made after 2011.

You can get a brand new base Frontier for around 20 grand. A nicely loaded for a few more.

The Frontier is an old proven reliable truck unlike everything else Nissan makes. It is going to replaced with a modern model in a year or so. Nothing fancy but good price and damn reliable.

I'm not the biggest Tundra fans in the world but i will say: 1. should be low maintenance even though mpg sucks

I think the mpg improved with the with the model year they went to the 6 speed transmission. I have a 2016 with 4.7 liter, I get 16-17 in city, and have ranged 20-22 on highway trips, I manually check it at every fill up. My buddy has a 2015 with the larger engine and gets about 1 mpg less than me.

Paid $25k for mine last year, with 35k miles SR5 package and several other options.

I haven't bought new since the 1990s. I always expand my area to include Houston and search for the best deal. My last two were bought in Alexandria and Orange, TX and I saved at least 5K over what I was finding in my immediate area.

My last two they delivered them to me and I signed the paperwork at my kitchen table. They were used and still drove them over.

Ahem

The vk56 is one of the finest motors of the last 30 years.

I have a vk56de and 8speed waiting to be transplanted. But my vg40 has 210k miles and has zero blowby. Even run to red line a few times a day.
