A friend just approached me with an 8 year old female boxer. House trained. Kid friendly. Family is moving and cant take her. If no one grabs her, shes going to the pound. Let me know if interested.

8 year old pup is family. Why can't they take her? Surly your friend has friends/family that know the dog and would be more than willing to adopt.

boxers are awesome dogs for families. I hope they find someone-things don't end will for 8 year old dogs sent to the shelter.

I understand that there are certain situations that can't be helped, but if I ever had a dog for 8 years I would not be able to give it up.

Not happy with them. E-mailed them about rescuing one and never heard back.
Ended up getting a boxer mix pup from someone. Ended up with an awesome pup, but they should respond to people that want their dogs. Have a big arse yard, it's just not fully fenced in, which I assume is why they didn't respond. My dog doesn't stay outside anyway.

Anyway, sad that they are getting rid of such a great dog. Hopefully someone here takes her in. I would if I didn't just get my puppy.

If the dog ends up at the pound LA Boxer Rescue will be notified by the shelter
