Nurse is pretty much always a bitch. Probably just insecure and always trying to be "cool" like the other internet msg board badasses on here. I also suspect she doesn't know the answer either.

Nothing wrong with asking a question every once in a while, that's how you learn and why she's in school in the first place. She may want to ask some fellow classmates what answer they got and how they arrived at it.

Yeah, it is 2100 ml/hr.
70mcg/minx 1ml/2mcgx 60min/hr=2100ml/hr. That answer is wrong.

You need to wind up with mls/hr. So step 1 is:

1mcg/kg/min = 60mcg/kg/hr

Patient Weight: 70kg

So now we have 60x70 mcg/hr = 4200 mcg/hr

Medicine is 2mcg/ml, so divide 4200 mcg/hr by 2 to get 2100 mls/hr.

I have zero medical experience, this is pure high school arithmetic so she must have gotten her 4.0 in English Lit or something.

The professor gave the wrong answer. OP's lady calculated the correct one.

I still am. But I didn't get through nursing school having my SO getting the answers off a message board.

That's what study groups are for. Or....going to the professor and asking them how they got the answer cause you and everyone else has gotten something different.

Of course you are, you are a great Christian.

No one can pass instant judgement on someone seeking their help like a Christian can...

And?

Why is it my job to help? He asked for me specifically, it's not my job. I hated drug calculations in school...but I did them. Why am I gonna do them for the heck of it for some random stranger?

Maybe the reason why the answer is wrong is to see if people catch it. Just like catching when a doctor makes a med error.

Then why not simply ignore the thread? Instead you go out of your way to be a bitch. frick off if you aren't interested in helping someone.

Whoever said it was your job? The OP is simply asking you, someone he respects, for some help. That's all. Excuse me, but what's the problem here?

He mentioned you cause maybe for some reason he respected you enough for your opinion. He needed help with a nursing question, your screen name says you're a nurse. I mean, you have the right to be rude on a message board, but its kinda obvious why he put your name in the subject.

Why is it that when any other poster gives a typical smartass reply it's ok and just expected OY reply. I do it and I'm a bitch and suddenly a horrible Christian?

Please tell me where in the bible it says "thou must do other people's homework for them or you are a horrible person"?

You've completely missed the point. Typical female response lacking any reason whatsoever.
