It's incredible.
Mine will turn a year in 2 weeks and he is the best thing ever.
The first 2 weeks are a nightmare because no one sleeps but it gets better.
Evry time you get frustrated just remind yourself that he/she will not be at that stage of life forever and as dumb as it sounds, you are gonna miss that crying piss and shite machine.

My first born was a son. When you're a man and you hold your first son there is not better feeling or moment I have ever some close to experiencing or being able to describe.
It's the best thing in the world except for a nice MLT.
A mutton lettuce and tomato sandwich, when the mutton is nice and lean.
Scruffy could almost weep at the beauty of it.

Your wife will never look as good as she used to and won’t feel obligated to blow you either.

Where does "becoming a father" rank on shite you've done in your life?
It's the easiest, hardest, most enjoyable, hated, loved, annoying, greatest, smelliest, disgusting, fantastic, wouldn't change a thing thing I've ever done.

Nothing else like it. And all those years you hear parents say "this hurts me more than you" you'll realize "damn, they weren't kidding."

I always tell people it's both the best thing and the worst thing that's ever happened to you.

Absolutely the best thing that's ever happened to me. Loving it.
My first is 8 months old. Love him more every day, and I didn't think that cliche was even fricking possible before he was born

Kids are the best and most stressful thing you will have in your life.

The best decision I ever made.

#1 and nothing else is close. Congratulations on becoming a father. If having a baby doesn't make you believe in God then there is no hope for you. The fact that you can spray your wife's guts and have her body create such a complex human being that eventually grows to be the biggest little shite you've ever known, and to be healthy, is truly a miracle.
Enjoy the ride. You're going to have times when you want to give up and you're going to have times when you have to fight back tears of pure joy and happiness when he/she looks at you and says, "come sit with me because we're best buds, daddy". Me and my little boy have a ritual that we do: we hug, give each other a kiss on the cheek, high five, low five, fist bump, then thumbs up. It's become our little thing that we do and I love it.
I really do feel like God put me on Earth to love my little boy and to be his dad. Nothing else you have done or ever will do will compare to being a father.
Congratulations!

Taking responsibility for their actions until they become adults can be nerve racking. You have to let them exercise their independence, of course, but there'll be many a time you'll be anxious about what's happening to them when they're away from you. I suppose that's natural, though.

Eh, it’s probably more spontaneous and more frequent now.
We’re deeper in love now than ever before, so more sex. And you also have to get it where/when you can, so it’s more spontaneous.

frick that. I hate any two of those four little frickers at any time.
You one kid having pussies are having your cake and eating it too, while making little a-hole spoiled kids.
Every President had a sibling.
Although Franklin D. Roosevelt, Gerald Ford, Bill Clinton, and Barack Obama had half-siblings.(Had to google that shite. ).

I have never understood this. We have daughters and no sons and not once have I felt that I was missing out. To respond to the OP, I have had a very successful career (plan to retire in a couple of years) but all I really want to be remembered for is being a good father and husband...the two most important roles in my life.
