Obligatory:

There were so many earlier this summer outside the CalEPA building in downtown Sacramento officials had to close its outdoor playground out of fear state employees’ kids would catch rodent-borne diseases.
To fight back, building officials set out a controversial type of rat poison whose use may soon be banned statewide by the California Legislature. The poison didn’t stay out very long once word got out the state’s top environmental regulators were using a poison widely condemned by California’s powerful environmental groups.
Obligatory:

The rats just need some midnight basketball

Yep. Rat poison is way worse than a Black Death outbreak.

Saw Juan Williams on Fox tell Dr. Drew that the "plague narrative in LA" was a myth being perpetrated by powerful extermination companies so the city will use their products. Also said it was going to kill everyone's pets.

Great pic choice. All progs must hate rat poison I guess.

Eh, did they jump the gun on approving the poison for use? what if it can get in the ground water or some chit?

This is dumb, but just for the hell of it, they should get a bunch of big pieces of plywood. Fill each piece up with rat traps (gorilla glue them to the boards), put something all around to attract them to that area and just watch as they get trapped.

It’s probably listed as a possible carcinogen by the State if California, as is every other chemical in the world, except for Natural Water. That’s apparently safe.

Can you go one day without saying something monumentally dumb?
This is almost as bad as you wanting to attach remotely detonated explosives to every item in stores

To be fair, Walmart would be a lot more appealing if this explosive theft deterrent were to be used.

I noticed a news bulletin the other day that California and several other states have passed laws that prevent declawing house cats. Maybe that is their solution to the rat problem. Mandatory cat ownership. Hungry cats love rats.
