These women are school board members and made these comments regarding parents wanting their kids back in the classroom during their zoom meeting.

quote:

"If you’re gonna call me out, I’m gonna f*** you up," exclaimed one board member.

"They want to pick on us because they want their baby sitters back," added another.....

They thought the meeting was private, but it wasn't. It was open to all parents to see and hear. Here are the comments from one of the mothers...

quote:

"It seems as of late that they mocked us, that we’re just complaining and we have nothing better to do."

"What are their true intentions, if they feel so freely that they can talk, you know, on a mic that may or may not be hot, what’s truly being said behind closed doors?" said Stalf.

The California mother also said she was "disheartened" that nobody in the meeting spoke out against the comments, especially the school’s superintendent.

But I'm sure they won't be fired.

The biggest hit to this country, when it comes to covid, will be the hit to the mental health of these kids who can’t be with their friends during this “pandemic”

The socialization that occurs at school is probably more important than the actual school work.

Yep. This will only widen the gap of private school kids vs. public school kids.

Hopefully most parents are still letting their kids play with their friends even if it isn't in a school setting.

The teachers/administrators who are still holding onto the "It is unsafe!" to open schools to in-person learning are nothing more than science deniers themselves. Many states across the country have had school 100% reopened since the first day. With the exception of the occasional closure, "Out of an abundance of caution" they have managed quite well. There has been no appreciable "spike" in cases, no appreciable "spike" in hospitalizations, and there has been no appreciable "spike" in deaths that can be traced to schools being open.

It has come to the point for governors to step in and reopen schools as they are intended to be run. Any teacher who does not want to show up can take leave if the have it and don't want to come in. If they don't, they should be told to seek employment elsewhere. This charade with schools has gone on long enough.

Hopefully. But, in some states, outside of gathering at someone's home, most any place kids can gather is still closed, or extremely regulated.

Maybe if your hopes and dreams are of your kid becoming a barrista.
