If you are bored in CA, that is your own fault. No other state can you go from surfing on some great beaches to snow skiing in mountains within a few hours of each other.
Oregon and WA state say hi.
Less sunshine whilst surfing though.

After being born and raised here, I can’t handle the awful weather, trashy people and lack of amenities in Louisiana for much longer. I cannot wait to GTFO, and California is on the short list. I think the climate and endless opportunities for entertainment are more than a fair trade-off for the high cost of living and loonie liberals.

I lived in Northern California for almost 17years, and loved it so much!
I really do miss it.

Exactly. The weather in those states suck by comparison

Northern California is beautiful, but I love the central coast as well!

I lived in Roseville, which is about 7 miles north of Sacramento.

I cant imagine going from CA to LA.
What really surprised me about California was the food. Not just the restaurants (which are top shelf) but in the Monterey area you can eat fresh produce, seafood and meat everyday and its cheap.

Not everyone in California are liberals. Northern California has a lot of good ole boys that love their guns, love to hunt, fish and camp. Not all of Cali is Hollywood!

Bought a place (a small one!) in Monterey last year.
When you have decamped to Louisiana, if your place in Cali needs a sober, wise, intelligent, rakishly handsome, trustworthy man about town to visit it for a couple of days to ascertain that it’s in good working order:

Most physically beautiful state. Too bad it's run by psychopaths who don't care about citizen safety and well being.
LA is an ever devolving shite hole thanks in part to incompetent Mayors and a criminally incompetent attorney posing as a District Attorney.
Most regulated, tough on small businesses, nanny state out there.

My company is based in SoCal and get to go a few times a year. I always look forward to it
We always try to eat dinner by the beach. It’s usually between 65-80 and I’m always looking at mountains
Do they have problems? Sure. But I always have a great time escaping the ballsack heat. Sue me

I don’t think people realize how big California is. They just see or hear about the encampments and assume it’s all like that.
Go make the drive on the 101 from the Redwoods down to Monterey, Big Sur, Santa Barbara all the way to San Diego, and try telling me it’s not a beautiful state

My parents watch Fox News 24/7 and every time I go to California they say they’ll be praying for me and hope I don’t get shot or robbed by a homeless person
There is this narrative that all 32 million residents live in just Skid Row or downtown SF.
People need to get out more and make their own opinions
