I know her personally and I’ve actually eaten there before.
To be honest it’s pretty solid and she does a good job. It definitely tastes more Cajun than the other places I’ve eaten at in California despite not having meat. I’ve eaten shrimp etouffee that was soup with zatairains crab boil dumped in it and a poboy with slices of lemon on the actual sandwich. I enjoyed her food much more than any of these efforts.
I can enjoy eating meals without meat on the occasion, so if you need meat in every meal then you won’t like it of course
