Cameras are ubiquitous and now they have face recognition and reading abilities. I don’t think spying is the appropriate word. We are all being surveiled. That’s a more neutral term that dovetails with the unbiased view of A.I.
It shouldn’t be threatening to those who have nothing to hide. A.I. looks only for those subjects who humans-in-authority have designated to be threats to society.

I believe he shot at the cop while approaching him..
How is that a bad shot?
Also, I believe this guy had previously shot someone in the head.
