Could anyone here imagine actually going back to work after an episode like this happened to you?
No way in hell I would go back. I would just take the back pay and quit. They went through all that shite to fire you, turns out they were wrong and then STILL vote to uphold your termination? If it isn't clear to you, maybe this will sort it out: THEY DONT WANT YOU THERE.

The problem with government workers, especially California government workers, is they become pot committed to their defined benefit pension and free healthcare for life.

I need to call the police on you, SuperTaint. You stole some shite from my house. You need to be arrested and fired from your job.
Evidence? No....I don't have any of that. You did it, though. I know you did it. I must see you destroyed!

Even worse, depending on the circumstances

Yea totally close to the same thing. Would you steal if you had to eat or would you just do drugs to overcome your starvation? Or would you a rape a child while on drugs instead of stealing food if you were starving?

Are you saying you will give me drugs if I’m hungry?
I’m hungry
