After being trapped for hours, the Cajun Navy, a volunteer group of private boat owners who assist in search and rescue efforts, helped escort the shelter workers to safety later that evening, and emergency personnel put the animals in large vehicles soon after.

If people would stop using shelters as their own personal dog mall maybe they wouldn't be so full all the time.

Some are actually good dudes, and prefer to be out helping people over giving interviews and taking donations

It's amazing how these rednecks just leave their animals in cages, on ropes/chains, and just give them zero chance to fend for themselves. Just give them a death sentence, because their 2 lazy to take the dog to a shelter when they had days in advance.

Let's see if I have this right:

On the one hand there are a bunch of Louisianaians who are spending their own money and time trying to help out in a natural disaster.

And on the other hand there are you slugs safe comfortable, fat and lazy sitting at home or work criticizing them for what they are doing.

Did I get that right?
