I bet there's about 25 Bama boosters that are about to sign up for this program.

Leasing a Cadillac Escalade - under their ultra low mileage lease (32,500 miles over 39 months) - works out to ~$970/month. That doesn't include tax, title, license, or dealer fees. It is also less than 850 miles per month, which is incredibly low. Lastly, it is also the same vehicle for 3+ years rather than 18 switches per year and a new model every year.
For someone who will lease anyway, this is an intriguing offer.
ETA: A 24-month lease at the traditional 15,000 miles per year limit on a base 2017 Escalade is $1295/month. This subscription service is significantly more attractive than a traditional lease.

yeah, this is a killer deal. I would love to see this type of service offered by other car mfrs. I would jump at a subaru, nissan or ford offering. And I am buy a car and drive it until it dies. But the reality is I only need a car for a few months a year, and being able to swap out for a nice SUV on the weekends would be killer.

I would expect rental companies like Hertz to start their own subscription service for cheaper manufacturers. $500 a month and you have a variety of cars such as Nissan, Hyundai etc..

Wouldn't be a bad deal if they still had a truck.. Sometimes i gotta make lumber run.

That's actually not terrible if you don't have to have your own insurance.

Or ever have to worry about it going into the shop. Ever. Just grab another one. You also don't have to drive around in a giant SUV all the time when you only need the giant SUV every once in a while.
This is fricking brilliant.

If you are single, get an Escalade to live in, swap to a sporty one for a date, and back to the larruge Escalade.

It doesn't work that way unfortunately

This would be great, but what if the vehicle you requested isn't available in your area? I would sssume there would be some sort of processing to clean, service and take all of the drugs out of the vehicle.
This could take off, companies could offer family packages, or offer incentives for buyers who have been loyal to their brand.

Or dispose of the dead hooker in the back

it seems like a great deal to me except that I did not see (maybe I missed) how old the vehicle swap MAY be. If your cintract is for 2017 calendar year and you only get 2017 swaps, it seems like a fantastic deal to me. If they can put you in a 2014 smelly, version...not as much.

The model year is the same as the calendar year. Starting February 1st, all vehicles will be 2017 models

not sure about the price, but I think this is an intriguing concept...I applaud them for coming up with this idea.
if the price and vehicle selection were right, I think it would be kind of cool to be able to swap out vehicles seasonally depending on what was going on in life...
if the selection were there, you could get an SUV during football season, a 4wd truck for hunting season, and then swap to a convertible car during the summer time...

It works really well for single folk, families not so much. If you need a SUV for your damn kids that isn't going to change within a years time.
Imagine how pissed your wife would be if you swapped the Escalade for CTS V coupe, lol
