Not much root structure to a cactus I guess. And homeowners insurance for the win.

Pool guy for one of our neighbors.

Our street is in a decent neighborhood. Neighbor's house in the pic sold for around 430K.

Wow! It's 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms?

Is the cost of living much higher there than.. let's say.. Baton Rouge?

Is the owner of that house's last name, White by chance?

Probably a meth dealer's house. Does the owner own a car wash and did he have cancer?

No, 4 bedrooms 2.5 bedrooms. Has a pool as well. We saw the pics on realtor.com when it was for sale. She had fully renovated the inside really nicely.

Her house had been up for sale for over a year. Guess she didn't mind waiting. I think she originally listed it for like 460K. I'm assuming she got 430 for it...last price I saw it listed for was 440k.

Honestly...I think she had it priced much higher than similar homes on our street.

Not really, at least I don't think so. I've even asked my dad if he thinks things cost more here...and he said not really. Some things cost much less(homeowner's insurance, car insurance). Scottsdale cost of living is a little higher than PHX but not by much. Our rent is $1500 for a 3 bedroom/2 bathroom house(no pool). This is an older neighborhood(homes built in 60s-70s). Most people will buy fixer uppers and then fully renovate the homes in our neighborhood cause it's located in a very desirable part of Scottsdale.
