Need advice for tundra tires. Looking for 275/55/20 all terrains. BF Goodrich AT KO2 are $1230. toyo open country AT are $975. Is Toyo a good tire? Any recommendations

Check out discounttiredirect.com. I just looked and they have both of those tires and sizes for cheaper that what you listed.

I have the Toyo’s. Good ride, if you do a lot of towing or hauling heavy loads go with BF Goodrich. If not, Toyo will do the job. If you are in BR area, check out Discount Tire on Airline in P’Ville. Beat every price I found buy $150 bucks.

I switched from KO2’s on my Land Cruiser to General Grabber AT2’s. I have been impressed so far. I think I paid just under $1000.

Toyo Open Country AT2s are a great tire if that’s what you’re looking at.

Believe it or not, price the dealer as well. I was pleasantly surprised.

Under $900 forBFG at 4wd.com. Most shops charge around $100 to mount and balance.

I’ve had two sets of Nittos on my Tundra. Although I did like my Trail Grapplers, switching to Ridge Grapplers made a ton of difference in ride quality and road noise. I don’t do a ton of driving but it’s obvious the Ridges are a much better on highway/off road option. I can’t say a bad thing about them on wet or dry roads. I’ve got 15k miles on them and they still look brand new.

I have heard great things about the new Ridge Grapplers. Also look at the Goodyear Duratrac. I will give you a little tip. If you decide on a tire go to Simple Tire or another online website and price them there then call Discount Tire and they will price match. When I purchased my Duractracs they were $200 apiece at Discount Tire and I found them online for $175 apiece and Discount Tire price matched.

Have to watch it though, the price on these sites doesn't include shipping and there's no mounting and balancing included either.

Best way I've gotten tires is order online through Walmart and ship to store for free shipping. Then go pick them up and have them put on at a good non chain store tire shop.

Why not buy from a local shop?

And some of these prices, WOW. just looking through my dad's vendors and we could sell you a few tires at good prices. The BFG KO or the Toyo Open COuntry MT both in 8 plys, both good tires if you truly need something that heavy and you want to drive with that lug tread on a daily basis. I could do the BFF for $300 ea mounted and balanced all day long, and with 4 we throw in a free front wheel alignment. For the Toyo I could $375 each mounted and balanced.

Any recommendations

I just pulled a set of BFG All Terrains off my Tundra that I just bought with my Harvey insurance money. I put a set of mud tires on it is the reason why. They are the standard tires that come with the TSS package. They are 285 though I believe. They are just sitting in my garage. I was going to sell them since they aren't going back on the truck. I will let them go WAY cheaper than $1200.
