Any OT baws know anyone who's bought a full Mardi Gras Indian costume? I think it would be pretty cool to have a collection of them on mannequins on display at a private residence

Just put a dirty tshirt on the mannequin and rub some BO on it every day.

It takes months and months to make one and a lot of money for the garments and other shite. What would you be willing to pay someone for that?

My aunt did this in her spare bedroom after the kids moved out.
Seriously, they're traditionally set on fire each year.

Years ago, once Mardi Gras was over, it was customary for Indians to salvage what they could from a suit, and then burn it, giving it back to the gods and spirits.

I would think $10-15K range would be a solid offer

There’s your answer. Find a krewe or a guy.

Bro if you know the going rate then share? Or are you just going to add snarky comments like a little bitch without adding any value?

No one’s gonna sell one to you, cracker

There is no going rate, they don't get sold. Plus, I don't think they would sell to you any way. Go buy a new George Dunbar painting he's about to have a new show. Plus, he's like 94 years old so the return could be good.

SO I guess reading comprehension is not a talent of yours. I didn't ask where I could find one. I was asking if anyone has ever bought one or knows someone who has.

Mardi Gras Indian
This is literally the equivalent of white people attending Mardi Gras in blackface.
But it’s blacks culturally appropriating Indians, so its ok. They make the rules in New Orleans now.
If white people did this, it would’ve already been labeled taboo and banned years ago.
