I use the company card and turn in receipts to my admin to enter the expenses. I usually don't charge snacks or drinks through the day, but meals, lodging, and travel definitely.
The hardest part is remembering the tipping policy. Max 20% of the pre-tax amount. So if I am in an airport and have a $6 bill, but sit there for two hours waiting on a flight, I'm not going to tip only $1.20. That's BS.

If I am travelling for work they should cover every expense I incur.
Actual expenses like meals, gas, hotel, etc...
But I used to travel every week for work I would never expense the cost of me going to concert, or perhaps the movies, etc..

Have a company card which is nice since I can just it for everything. The downside is that miss out on all those sweet credit card bonuses. I probably come out ahead though since knowing me I wouldn’t bother expensing for all the stupid stuff that’s minor but adds up over time.

Every expense. Take a picture of receipt and upload to Concur.

I mean, some of those aren't scams and if a company doesn't allow it, you work for someone really shitty.

I put everything on the company card when I'm working. I'll even get gallons of water if I'm working in a place with garbage water.
The only time they question it is when I submit larger expenses from my personal account (some places don't take Amex)
