To me the red beans are bland, and no sausage.

for fast food, they are good. Mix them with that greasy, heavenly piece of fried yard bird and they seem better than they are.
I can't find decent RB&R in Baton Rouge unless I cook them myself. NOLA south over to Laffy has plenty of RB&R that are better than Popeyes.

Much better than what passes for red beans and rice in Las Vegas.

I must be lucky...the Popeye's out here actually has good service...and I don't need interpreters to understand their attempts at English.

I will agree. No surprise my opinion changed when I moved to JP.
I would drive 30 minutes for Popeyes in Richmond. Now, I don't drive 5. Not to mention fast-food service here is so much worse than Richmond.

This must be a Louisiana thing b/c I've never had trouble with the service at Popeyes or Burger King in Texas

Depends on the location from what I can tell. At my old job in Orlando they had a Popeye's across the tracks on OBT, for those familiar with that road, it ain't good. But it was Popeye's, so I'd eat there every so often, horrible service.

Now I live in TX, and they have one in my neck of the woods, 10 minutes from my house, great location. Service is fantastic.

I was just there 2 nights ago, I saw they have this wrap that has a chicken tender inside of it stuffed with red beans which sounds like heaven in a wrap! I noticed it as I was pulling out, so I'll have to check it out the next time I go, whenever that may be.

we use to go to a Popeyes in downtown Mobile once a week when I was a kid. Good service and the food was always on point.

the same store is still open today but it seems like its been struggling for years.

there are no Burger Kings in that area of town. I can't remember the last time I ate Burger King.

I usually just hit up Hardee's on the way to work in the morning. That's pretty much it. The service is great and the food is so consistent.

Some of y'all get entirely too upset over the service at places like Popeyes and Burger King. Shocking the place that sells 10 nuggets for a buck doesn't spend more money/time in its hiring practices

I never liked my food mixed together but had to try that wrap. It's delicious!

BK has 10 nuggets for $1.49. I have a couple of 5 year olds, it's money.

Just had lunch at the Popeye's on Govt. and it was a fricking pigsty. I go into Popeye's expecting bad service and decent food. This place was tore up. Floor hadn't been cleaned in a day or two, floor mats rolled up and left on counters, straw and napkin dispensers were empty (so they had the industrial size bags of napkins and straws laid out on the check out area), you had to wipe down a table and chair to sit anywhere.

Good luck Burger King.

Serious question. Are Popeye's red beans and rice legit?

Their "ok" but that's about it. Definitely not good enough for me to get them over mashed potatoes when I get spicy strips.
