Burger King removes offensive ad in NZ

Burger King put out an ad making fun of a Vietnamese sandwich they had by having people try to eat with chopsticks. Well, people on Twitter said it was racist so they remove the ad.

If there is one race that is never offended and thinks Americans are overly sensitive and outright stupid, it’s Asians.
This is just another example of some white guilted lady with purple hair trying to speak for people she knows nothing about.

It has long been an advertising strategy at Burger King to produce controversial ads like this, only to stir up buzz. Those ads get tons more exposure on early morning news shows, people sharing them on social media, etc, than they ever would on traditional TV. What’s more, it is a lot cheaper to let other people play those spots for free than BK paying for air time.

Not entirely accurate but I will say they seem to be the least offendable group. What they specifically don't do is dwell on the past, for the most part. The most offendable Asians I've seen are all people who grew up in America, though.
A friend of mine from high school is a member of a group called Asian Americans Against Affirmative Action. They get screwed by college admissions policies regarding minority set asides. I like their splash screen on FB.

Protecting people from being offended is one of the worst things we have done, it's created "snowflakes" everywhere.
People cannot learn to deal with adversity without every experiencing it. We're systematically softening people, and I believe it's being done purposefully.
