Look at these administrators just standing around. Our schools are run by the dumbest working people in the country. And the teachers on here wonder why I make fun of them. Not all are bad but the majority of our educators and administration is really in need of better talent

Thats just not how the government works.

Terrible story and situation.

Understand some state/school employees are not caring/lazy/etc people. My wife is a teacher and I know majority of the staff that works with her, they (and she) are some very passionate and caring people. They actually talk about ways to help students together, wanting the best for them. My wife has even brought kids to our home that did not have running water at their home, or mentioned had not eaten a meal outside of school in weeks, etc, wish more teachers were like her (and her coworkers)

I know private school teachers care a lot more. I went to both public and private and when it came to fights public school teachers weren’t in a hurry to break it up like private school teachers were unless it was a custodian.

Having NOT taught your child to defend himself should be your worst nightmare. But again parents blame anything else but how shitty of parents they are.

That bully was much bigger and more developed. Probably wouldn’t matter if he knew how to defend himself.

This is not the victim’s parents fault. Unless they knew this had been occurring and did nothing. But this incident was not their fault at all.

The bully should go to prison for at least 25 years.

This is what happens when kids are not allowed to fight and when they roughhouse less because of being on screens/devices.

They need to know how their body works. They need to experience pain for themselves and reaction to pain from others so they know what is too much.

Everyone in the office at that time would die by me.

I know I’m going to prison but sometimes in these cases, the juice is worth the squeeze

Why does the article not mention how bad the brain damage is?

Is the kid a vegetable now or can he function?

I think death is preferable to living in a vegetative state

I was watching a special on vegetative people with permanent severe brain damage and it was wrenching

The people looking after the victims basically all admitted that they wish the loved one had died as opposed to the state they are in.
