Should ban knives too. Not.

Others have already said it, just put the shits in jail. We don't need more restrictions. This is anarcho tyranny. Where we go soft on criminals and put more restrictions on law abiding citizens.

They already ARE controlled. You have to be 21years old to buy any pistol ammunition….

Nothing sounds dumber than a person trying to mandate for 350MM people based on their selfish notion of how things “should be”.

Profoundly retarded take, even for the OT. But I'm feeling froggy and will dissect it against my better judgement.

1. Let's start with the obvious part: The controlled substance list pertains to things people consume. Nobody consumes bullets, except for that one scene in The Crow. While the broader point you're making is equally retarded, we should get this point out of the way before teeing off on that.

2. The 2A exists. Like it or not, it's there and has weathered decades of attacks by well-funded commies who tried to accomplish exactly what you're advocating for. They've tried excessively taxing ammo, putting purchase limits on it, adding waiting periods, and all other kinds of nonsense. And the USSC -- even much more lefty courts than the current one -- teed off on it. So cry more, cuz the law isn't changing. And few state-level challenges have survived.

3. You whine for "solutions." There are no solutions. More than half of this country has lost its mind. Generations of kids were not raised properly and have devolved into savages banging it out in amoral wastelands. They aren't going to wake up and decide to live moral, responsible lives.

4. With #3 in mind, as is the case with all gun control nonsense, all additional ammo restrictions will do is prevent good kids who are trying to buy shotgun shells or whatever from being able to exercise their 2A rights. The bad eggs, as others have said, aren't buying 9mm ammo at Walmart. They're getting it off the street or via straw purchases.

5. All your "controlled substance list" will do is make it harder for good people to exercise their constitutional rights and will probably result in fewer people knowing how to properly use guns for hunting and self defense, increasing reliance on the govt. All you commies want as many people as possible eating out of the govt's hand, and I suspect that is the real motive behind most of these initiatives.

Please stop voting.

Well you have to be 21 to purchase a handgun and the ammo that goes with them.

You guys aren't offering any real solutions to the YN problem. I'm waiting.

Make it easier to purchase bullets. And guns.

We can start by repealing the 1934 NFA.

Heck yeah

More government regulation is always better for people.

Just ask Britain or Australia how that’s working

You’re retarded. You think all the “teens” shootings are with legally acquired weapons and ammo?

Holy shite.

Where do you think they "acquire" them? Does the black market not exist in this world without thieves?

Perhaps there should also be an IQ test to purchase.

Theoretically that would remove a lot of Dims and they are like 95% of mass shooters

Theoretically

If there were an IQ test to post here, the forum wouldn't exist.

Low IQ people probably aren’t going to be able to assemble the bullet back into a fireable cartridge so no big deal

wouldnt it be easier if we just made murder illegal and shooting people in general illegal?

seems that would make more sense than banning the object.....

have we tried that? Im legit just asking because seems like if you make things illegal in writing that would make all these teens in the ghetto give up their guns

while we are at it...should prolly make drugs like heroin and crack illegal too.

we already know everyone follows laws so if we just make the action illegal we wont have to worry about things like guns. everyone already knows this, once you make murder illegal all the other stuff magically goes away. Because violent people maybe crazy but they always follow the law!!

The law is 21 to purchase handgun ammunition. If only these "teens" would follow the law.
