about 2/3 way through the article , it set they left and went to hooters to finish their celebration. should have gone there first

I happen to know someone who knows the guy in the article (the one who was asked about his race). I don’t know what part of the story is accurate or what may be getting sensationalized by the media. But apparently the guy is a stand-up guy and isn’t the type to go looking for problems or looking to be offended. TIFWIW.

Everyone who has ever served hears "large group of black customers" and prays to all heaven it isn't their table. Can be mad all you want...but it's easily the lowest tipping demographic if poor. Demanding as well. Now middle income and upper income are fine, they usually over tip to compensate for the stereotype. But poor, large party? Just quit. It's easier than taking that table man.

I'm sure when a specific locations page gets a huge spike in visits that it gets automatically locked down until it can be reviewed
