Maybe.
But the explanation for his behavior in your post could be said for every troll that’s ever posted here. We don’t leave those encounters thinking about how nuanced the shite posting is - we just think it’s dumb.
Trump’s base is passionate, they’re not going anywhere. He’s not winning any independents over by ruffling the media’s feathers, (if that is what he’s doing.)
It sounds like he says whatever dumb shite comes to mind because he knows his supporters will rationalize it.

I feel like most Democrats don’t care about how embarrassing or bad Joe sounds. I think they’ve come to the realization that Joe is a puppet/mouthpiece to their progressive movement. I can’t think of 1 single cause or stance Biden has that isn’t in step with the more progressive Democrats
His biggest hurdle right now is his Clinton Crime Bill from the 90's especially now that Trump just signed that criminal justice system reform bill. There's no way Joe will be able to squirm out of that in his current mental state after bragging about it for 25 years.

Which is scary since you know, this is an actual 75 year old man who could be actually targeted because the president through out a dumb conspiracy theory like it was a birthday wish on twitter

Wow...dude, that’s A bad look.

I really wish Trump wouldn't post about things like this, though. Let others get in the weeds. Even if he received information on the incident that shows this guy was an agitator, talking about it like this still looks petty and unnecessary.
I agree, unless he is actually ANTIFA. Then he is a terrorist that needs to be exposed.
The “protest” crowd seems to have no idea how bad the “rioting” crowd is hurting their cause. They are doing nothing to disassociate.
Shouldn’t matter where you fall in this argument. The people that are instigating police right now will not make matters any better. If there is a professional organization perpetrating these actions they are a threat to our national security.

I think they are going to come out with some Antifa stuff pretty soon.

Not really. Trump's enemy hasn't really been the Democrats, it's been the media and he's forcing them to ruin the only capital that counts in the news and that's telling the truth.

I'm pretty sure he's winning over some independents by doing it. You've got a person like former Bernie fan Tim Pool who watches the media 24/7 who's sitting on the fence about voting for Trump because he sees what the media is doing. There are a lot of people who are getting annoyed with how the media thinks it's their job to either create or be the news.

Oh, there's no doubt a significant number of his supporters that do that. I'm more interested in why and I think it's because they feel they haven't had an actual voice until now. It's what happens when people think their leader genuinely has their best interests in mind.

I'm certainly not one of these 14D intergalactic underwater chess type people, but I'm almost certain he's doing this for a reason. He puts this kinda stuff on Twitter so the media flips out then takes that flip out to the extreme and makes unfounded claims based on that tweet. When they do this, every little overstep they take continues to undermine their already poor credibility because they can't help themselves. He's been doing it for 4 years and he can still get them to dance now just as effectively as when he started.
Or perhaps it's just as simple as he's a stereotypical mildly senile septuagenarian who is addicted to Fox News and other conservative gaslighting enterprises and buys every fear-mongering conspiracy they present. He gave Rush Limbaugh the fricking Medal of Freedom, ffs! He believes windmills cause cancer. He asked about nuking a fricking hurricane. He thinks Frederick Douglass is still alive.
To quote Rex Tillerson, Trump is "a fricking moron". He's not trying to troll or bait, this is shite he truly believes.

Watch the video that has been posted multiple times in this thread, I did on page 1.
This dude is a habitual police agitator.
