you agreed with Black Lives Matter,

the sentiment that Black peoples lives matter, yeah, sure... the "Black Lives Matter" movement, organization, etc, nope, they were fricking stupid and did more harm to their cause than good... that clear up my stance for you?

alas, we agree... but i could also add a few other grifts that i think people are stupid for falling for, in addition to BLM

you sure you can’t frame this implication in a less direct way?

Are you suggesting that the NFL didn’t adjust their MO due to those lower ratings?

no, not at all... but it's not how they are spending their money that i think is stupid... its the still bringing up the stupid thing that happened, and their constant reminding everyone how they've switched that i find more patronizing than anything...

really i think it's hilarious, b/c it's still being brought up... weird flex, IMO, but hey, you do you, bro

Coors Lite +21.8%

Coors didn’t come out and call their customers frat boys and state that they want to remove their brand from that clientele. That’s where Bud crapped the bed.

Yep a simple press statement saying that the company was unaware of the decision by the marketing director and an apology the day after the and all of this would have blown over. Doing nothing while said marketing director doubled down and insulted the majority of their customer base is what did it.

mad? not in the least... i just think it's utterly stupid and unnecessary to STILL bring up...

ain't nobody getting mad over what other people decide to drink, nor their desire to declare to the world about how they STILL don't drink Bud Light...

i wasn't directing that squarely at you, bro... sorry... it's was more of a general comment, meant for those who incessantly remind everyone about them not buying Bud Light anymore...

I was hoping for BUD stock to drop to $50 to pick up a boatload but it bottomed out ( ) around $53 and will probably be back about $60 soon. I finally bought some shares at $55

It does the same to me. Takes about three to stuff me up completely.

I don’t think it’s a boycott anymore I think people have quit that brand permanently and have no intention of going back

This. What they have to realize is their brand is now stained. And it won’t wash off. You go into any bar outside of the hip parts of town and have a BL in your hand, well, you are branded.

Best bet is to kill that brand and start up a new light beer in a few years. And hope too much of that sh**stain didn’t get on their other brands.

Yes, Coors/Molson is woke too. But to win the war you have to fight battles one at a time.

Additionally, I hate how some people think stating that coors/miller/etc have made a rainbow can before is this huge “gotcha.”

People aren’t going to stop drinking beer. But people who are fed up with this BS were itching to vote someone out with their wallets, and Bud Light ran a great campaign for it.

Perception is reality in branding, and one way or another they made themselves the greater of several identically priced evils. They flew too close to the sun.

no, i essentially said this is an incredibly stupid thing for both sides... Bud Light for doing it, and the boycotters for their virtue signaling, indignant bullshite....

Unlike the vast majority of virtue signaling this is being done MAINLY without fan fare. This isn’t being done in attention grabbing, look at me ways for the most part. It’s being done by people simply saying no thanks I’ll buy something else.
