I have never been to Ruston in my life and although I like a good brisket sandwich, friendly customer service, clean bathrooms and a bag of Bucee Beaver Nuggets as much as the next road trip baw I just don't see me stopping in this one.

Buccees is top tier people watching. I haven't even been in the new one near me yet, but I've taken a few loops through the back 40 parking lot and it is quality stuff.

Next one should be on future I-49 in the Houma/Thibodaux area.
Imagine a Bucees at the 182 exit near the LPSO sheriff’s range. I know a lot of dirt work would be needed to lift the land though.
Another good spot would be 311 and 90 by Fletcher.
Would that make more I-10 travelers chose US90/future I-49 to bypass Baton Rouge?

I drive that way once a month and while I’ll appreciate my #1 place for going #2, I’m not thrilled about how it will frick up traffic on 20.
