Some of y’all are way too triggered about a gas station coming to Ruston.

I live 10 miles from the proposed location and the only problem I have is that it’s going in right across the street from Ruston Jr High. That area is going to be a shite show in the mornings and afternoons.

So I'm guessing it is going to be on the Northwest side of the new Tarbutton interchange directly on the other side of Devine Liquor that is on the Southwest side?

It says it's going to be in Ruston. The west side of the interstate is Grambling, not Ruston, which is why the liquor stores are there.

never thought I would live to see grown men excited about 60 urinals to piss in. I piss outside behind the building when I can.

It's what a business like Buc-cees can do for a small town economy like Ruston. The jobs it brings. The tax dollars that come with that. It's an economy booster. THAT is what Rustonites are excited about.

Would that make more I-10 travelers chose US90/future I-49 to bypass Baton Rouge?

Would still seem pointless unless the travelers just want to go to NOLA.

At Tarbutton, Grambling is south of the interstate while the north side is still Ruston city limits. Ruston limits go a tad west of tartbutton

Right and Ruston Jr High is on the North side so I assume Buccees will be too. Not on the south side where the Keg is (was)

Buc-ee’s is a gas station, not a truck stop. No big rigs allowed except those that are delivering goods .

Articles reported 80ish acres were being looked at for Buc-cees. The real estate guy for them was the one at City council tonight.

Ruston has a little land west of Ruston, but not 80 acres worth. That's my biggest question about all of this is how that is going to work

They closed the big outlet for good a couple years ago. I think there’s a beauty school in there now.
