The free market can solve this problem on its own now 100%. It couldn't back when blacks couldn't eat at the town's only restaurant.

Now, there are so many choices for consumers that this is not a problem. There doesn't need to be a law.

The offended person will go straight to twitter and facebook and try to run that person out of business instead of just accepting the owners different beliefs. That's the only bad thing but ultimately, I'm fine with it. Chik fil a survived it.

This is why I don't like these laws being compared to the civil rights movement. The entire population was far more close minded and set in its ways during the 60's. Now, most people are far less socially conservative. This is why law or no law, more accepting businesses will prevail while known choosy businesses will eventually die out in most communities.

No surprise you don't see the difference in being religious and being gay.

You do realize that science pretty much proved the existence of God with the Big Bang right? One of two things have to be eternal for the universe to exist and they proved that the universe had a beginning. You would be naieve to think there isn't a creator.

These type of statements are as close minded as the ones spouted by many of the fundamentalists that they are angry with.

Would you agree that there is more choice for consumers to purchase good now than there ever has been?

Do you agree that the number of places that discriminate against gays is low?

Why wouldn't you think the market would take care of this? They aren't sawing off the arms of gay couples. This doesn't need regulated any longer. The gays already won their fight.

The market would take care of this and daddy government can waste money on other issues.

So what is the cutoff for the amount of non-discriminating stores to discriminating stores that allow you to be OK with this? Have you set some number? Just going off of feeling?

You are using extreme examples to soften the less extreme but still real problem. And what fight have the gays won? They just lost this fight in Mississippi.

The market simply doesn't take care of the real problem. The real problem isn't "who is going to bake a cake for gay people." The real problem is that people have been told it is OK to act like we are still in the 1960s.

Prove it. Show me the outrage from gay MS citizens that have been denied services because they were gay and couldn't get those services elsewhere.

No law is needed.
